| Login Problems
											There are
several major reasons why you may
        have trouble logging into
        Maintenance Connection:

            You may
        have a Pop-up Blocker:
        Pop-up Blockers come with many
3rd party toolbars such as the
        Yahoo toolbar in addition to
        being a part of Internet
Explorer in some cases. You may
        have multiple Pop-up Blockers
        installed in your system without
        even knowing it.  All
        Pop-up Blockers must either be
        disabled or be configured to
        allow Pop-ups for Maintenance
        Connection (adding 'maintenanceconnection.com'
to the allowable list in your
        Pop-up blocker configuration).
        For more information, please see
        (Pop-up
        Blocker Settings.)

        Your
        browser may not be accepting
        Cookies: Make sure that your
        browser allows "Cookies" (i.e.,
        that Cookies are turned on).
Please follow the (Instructions for Enabling
        Cookies.)
        You
may have a corrupt file in your
        Browser cache:
You may have a corrupt file in
        your Browser's cache directory.
        Please follow the (Instructions
        for clearing your Browser's
        cache.)

Your browser may have a Third-Party Browser Extension that is
        causing problems: There may
        be a Third-Party Browser Extension
        that is causing problems. Try
        disabling Third-Party Browser
        Extensions.
        Please follow the (Instructions for
        Disabling 3rd Party Browser
        Extensions.)
You may have a regional settings
        conflict (Windows XP Only):
        If you experience the
        symptom where after you login
        and select an application, your
        browser windows closes, you may
        have a regional settings
        conflict. Please follow the (Instructions
        for configuring your regional
        settings)

    Below
reasons are not as common - but
    still should be verified:

        Incorrect
        Member ID and/or Password:
        Double-check your Member ID and/or
        password. (If
        you forgot your password, please

        Your browser may have Active
        Scripting turned off: Make
        sure that your browser allows
        active scripting (i.e. that
        active scripting is turned on).
        Please follow the (Instructions
        for Enabling Active Scripting.)
        You may have a
        misconfigured Firewall: A misconfigured
        Firewall may also cause log-in
problems. Try temporarily turning off any
        Firewall software you may have
        installed, such as ZoneAlarm.
        Please follow the (Instructions
        for configuring your firewall.)
        Your
        browser may be
        using an incompatible text encoding:
        Sometimes, the
        login page will not display
        correctly if your browser isn't
        set for Western text encoding.
        In most browsers, you can
        manually change the text
        encoding style by clicking on
        the "View" menu and selecting
        "Encoding" or "Text Encoding",
        followed by "Default" or
        "Automatic". If this doesn't
        solve the problem, select either
        "UTF-8" or Western text
        encoding.
